NO BAKE CHEESECAKE! WOOT!

My first time making Chocolate Cheesecake! And it was a success! If you'd like to make this cheesecake here are the ingredients needed:

First you need to make the crust. You can choose to either buy crust at the store or make your own. I made my own it just tastes better to me.
Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups of (Chocolate) graham cracker crust (Or Oreo like brand cookies could work too)
  • 1/4 cup of sugar
  • 1/3 cup of melted butter

Crush up graham crackers into small small bits... as you can tell I did not use a food processor because I didn't have one lol so instead a potato masher ad to take its place! It worked!
 Measure out sugar!
I poured the sugar and the crushed graham crackers in together then poured the melted butter on top. Used my hands to mix it all together then with a spoon I smoothed the crust evenly.

Then just stick it in the fridge and let it chill while your making the Cheesecake or any other kind of pie/cake thing.
Ingredients for the Chocolate Cheesecake:
  • 1 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 11 ounces cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup butter or margarine, softened
  • 2 cups frozen whipped topping, thawed
  • 1 graham cracker crust, purchased or homemade
  • more whipped topping or whipped cream for topping
  • shaved milk chocolate, optional ( for topping)
  • Here are the instructions in advance just to prepare a lot easier!
Melt chocolate chips over low heat in saucepan or microwave, stirring frequently until smooth and melted. Set aside to cool. In large mixer bowl beat cream cheese, sugar and butter until smooth. On low speed blend in the melted chocolate. Fold in whipped topping until blended. Spoon cheese chocolate filling mixture into prepared graham cracker crust. Cover and chill until firm. Garnish with whipped topping and shaved chocolate, if desired.

    Measure and Melt the chocolate!

Mix the sugar and Better together!
Pour it in a bowl with the cream cheese and whip it up until smooth.
Add in the melted chocolate chips a little at a time.
Add in the cool whip one cup at a time!
     Mix...MIX....Mix some more!
     And that part is Done!
Pour the mix into the now... chilled crust... with the spatula and spread evenly
I decided to decorate my Cheesecake with crushed up semi-sweet chocolate chips... you can also add some whip topping as well! And don't forget the Cherry on top!

Hope this was helpful and delicious as it was for us!

Easter Outfits for Mama & Baby

I decided to make Easter outfits for my 10 month son and for myself.  It surprisingly wasn't too hard to do.  With my dress I picked out a cute tank top and a couple fabrics that matched.  It was a time consuming project but very fun.  The colors were very vibrant and I made sure that the tank top and top of the skirt met at the smallest part of my waist.  Hemming took the longest but it was worth the work.
As you may or may not see I sewed a shear yellow fabric under the floral to give it a layered look.  Boy does this dress twirl pretty!
Overall the dress fits great and I can see myself making a lot more of these in the future!
As for Kyle's onsie I had a lot of fun creating this.  The bowtie was pretty simple and straight forward.  I used clip buttons so the bow tie could be taken on and off. The suspenders were a little difficult and I realize now that in the future it would've been easter to just buy ribbon and is that instead.
In the back I had the "Straps" cross for a cute detail.
Overall this came out great.  I put buttons for a cute look and let me tell you it sure did look cute on him!

    Tea Time

FUN FACT#12: There are a few times in ones life that we get to be a part of something very special and I’d say this is definitely one of them. I had the opportunity to be apart of an annual Spring Tea Party for many years. This was not just some ordinary Tea Party....no this was much more. It was a special outreach event to the Sanger Community from the Sierra View Community Church. The winner of the Mother Of The Year was usually announced during this event and the award wa...s presented by Local News Anchor Personality along with The State Representative of California.

My contribution or donation to this event was to design clever program covers, tickets, recipe cards, and really anything that Jill Delano needed. These paintings was created for the Spring Tea Party of 2008. It was used as artwork for the program cover which was shaped like a tea pot, a tea bag label, recipe cards, official tickets and other fun things. I donated the original paintings to Sierra View Community Church’s auction.

Since I’ve created these paintings, many others around this great world of ours, have been able to enjoy them too. Thanks to manufacturers like Howard Keys, You Stuff It Boxes, LLC, and Marketing Development Group.
