Every Secret Garden needs a secret enterance! Jenny Newland used regular interior paints from hardware stores in pint sizes and got mostly primary colors. All that you see was painted freehand.
In the corner where the tree is that's where the little girl's bed was. We put it there so when she laying in bed she could look up and see all the little birdies!
The little girl loved story time with her Mom and Dad so we purposly put different images on seperate walls so they could use each image for story time.
Jenny used ply wood to cut out cloud shapes and used cotton and stapled it on the back... then used white pillow cases to shape the clouds with. She also used sheared fabrics and sewed and hemed them together to create the rainbow.
Underneith the window shows a cute scene of a bunny hopping through the little garden as well.
Overall this was a fun project to try. It took me 2 weeks to finish this project. It was worth it when we saw the little girl's face. She had a great birthday present!
